Family FAQ

You Asked:

Instead of mailing holiday cards this year, I want to send a holiday email. What are some things I can do to make it special?

The Online Family Answers:

Many families are choosing to send digital versions of their annual holiday card or newsletter because you can personalize a greeting. You can send a simple email with a photo attached. But to have a little more fun, you can post your holiday message online in the following ways and send out the web page link to family and friends:

-If you have a blog, you can do a special holiday post with musings from the whole family.

-You can create an online photo album on sites such as  Shutterfly or Flickr.

-You can use online card sites such as BlueMountain to send out your greeting.

-Create a video holiday message and post it via a site like YouTube.

Consider sending your greeting out a few weeks before the holidays so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. And for those who don't have online access, you might want to still create a paper version to send out by regular mail.
