Family FAQYou Asked:
The Online Family Answers:One way to allow equal time on the computer is to make a schedule. With a schedule, your kids -- and everyone in else in the family -- will all get a chance to use the computer for tasks such as homework, bill paying, vacation planning, recipe searches and more. To create a schedule, ask each person in your family when they need to be online. Then sort out any conflicts. So if both of your kids want to be online at the exact same time after school, assign them time on alternating days. Then make a schedule that includes each person's name and their scheduled computer days and times. Post the schedule next to the computer. You might want to remind your kids that during their time slot they should do their deadline work first -- like school reports -- and then move on to fun stuff.
